Questions and Answers
Q: what length cable comes with the 2 ton come-along cable puller? Can it be used to lift an item into place and if not why? Also are there others that can. Part number is 91650002. Thanks
Asked by alan smith on 11/20/2013
A: This 2 ton Cable puller has 6 feet of cable, but because of the tackle configuration, it has 3 feet of lift. It can be used to lift items, but isn't warrantied to lift items over a person's head. Our line of Magna Lifting Chain Hoists and Lever hoists are designed for overhead lifting and have much longer lift lengths than our cable pullers. Q: how to let cable out ?
Asked by Guest on 4/23/2014
A: There is an oblong slot near the spring that keeps the pawl locked onto the ratchet. if you slide the spring to the opposite end of the oblong slot, it reverses the direction of the cable puller. Answer provided by:  E-Rigging Sales Team (4/23/2014)
