Hand swagers are designed for crimping copper & aluminum sleeves and stop buttons. Jaws are made of forged alloy steel that are then heat treated to assure a tight & clean compression. Cutter feature is specially designed to perform clean cut on cable.
Invented in 1928 by Morse-Starrett to cut wire rope. Actuated by striking a hammer, they are easy to operate and give superior performance without jamming. They are precision-engineered to deliver a clean cut without affecting the roundness of the wire rope. Blades & dies are made of the finest tool steels available, heat treated and ground to close tolerances.
